•Honored with the first Carteles Awards XXIII Anniversary recognizing the first bilingual correspondent on
television on CNN/CNNE in 2012.

•Selected by the National Academy of Arts and Sciences, Suncoast Regional Chapter to host the Emmy Awards Gala
in 2007.

• Honored with City of Miami Mayor’s Special Recognition for my contributions to the community both as a
citizen and as a Broadcast Journalist

• Honored with the Dominican Excellence Award for my Broadcast Journalism career – The highest award given to
Dominicans working in the United States by the Dominican Republic Tourism Ministry, the Dominican Republic
Consulate in Miami and IB Productions.

• Honored with a plaque by the Dominican Republic Consulate for excellent work on Television in South Florida
in 2003.
